DRAFT: A Visionary's Manifesto (Letter to Interested Parties)

For too long, content providers and advertisers have operated in parallel universes — leaving little room for collaboration. At Minchyn, we aim to be a bridge between these two worlds. As an experienced marketing and advertising professional turned content creator, I’ve felt how hard it can be (on all sides) to navigate the complexities of not only the creator economy but marketplaces, DSP’s, getting messages to consumers effectively, and last but not least driving commercial outcomes.
 
Minchyn is an ai-powered social media platform for automated and always on brand-deals. We’re on a mission to democratize the creator economy, and would love for you to join us in providing millions of micro-influencer content creators with the opportunity to do what the 1% of the creator economy does, earn money from their work. Minchyn’s network effects & social commerce layer will create multiple use cases for the world to connect easier, thus increasing the efficiency of the human network.

 

Minchyn’s decision to build a platform rather than just a product or feature stems from the recognition of the transformative power inherent in empowering content creators within the digital landscape. By crafting a comprehensive social media platform centered on content creators and equipped with AI-driven capabilities, Minchyn not only addresses the existing pain points within the creator economy but also heralds a new era of democratization and opportunity.

-With the help of TechTown Detroit and their Customer Discovery cohort program, we interviewed over 200 potential users and small brands/advertisers and successfully concluded that we will reach product market fit. During the interviews we wanted to find out more about them, including their pain points as content creators, small businesses, advertisers, or all of the aforementioned. These key insights helped us hone in on the use cases as well as develop the roadmap based on direct feedback from these potential users and customers.

While Fanbase and Spill have just entered the creator economy space, more specifically monetization, they are joining Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Youtube, and X in a battle for social connections and watch time. However, this new entry validates the market we are going after and with Minchyn focused on providing brand deals and creator value in real-time, our approach differentiates us from the major players.

The risk is establishing network effects alongside the current markets. As the market continues to suffer from the lack of democratization in the creator economy, Minchyn is well positioned to usher in a more effective creator monetization system via automated brand deals, tools, and resources. To do this, we intend to raise $3M in new equity capital. This equity will be used to build our engineering team to support our incoming CTO and our incoming elite software engineers, as well as our market builders (sales), a GTM arm (including sales, marketing, and customer success).

Prototype

 

 

In order to build the Prototype and MVP, we raised $25k (Non-Dilutive) from Family + Friends. Due to prioritizing product market fit and speed to market we decided to design the hi-fidelity  prototype internally but outsource the development using SWE Volunteers, this allowed us to test the hypothesis in order to raise further funding and ultimately attract the shortlisted talent to fill out the team.
